Her appearances in US films were less frequent from the 1950s, but she frequently visited TV series. Her last film was One Hell of a Guy (2000). Hasso was also a singer and songwriter, mainly of adapted Swedish folk songs, and released two CD's. She wrote several novels, beginning with Momo (1979). She was a US citizen from 1948, but Sweden honored her as a Member First Class of its Order of Vasso. Canadian-born BERNARD BRADEN (1916-1993) moved to England in 1949, and started a popular radio show, Breakfast with Braden, the following year. (Bedtime with Braden soon followed.) He had a news and consumer affairs program, On the Braden Beat at ITV (1962-1967), re-named Braden's Week when he moved to the BBC (1967-1972). He appeared in a film, The War Lover (1962), and in two Tennessee Williams plays, including A Streetcar Named Desire, which he had parodied as "Brandon Marlow" on Breakfast with Braden.
