Biography
William Donnison (1754-1834) was an American soldier for the Massachusetts Militia for more than 10 years, serving as an Adjutant General (1788-1813) in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. In 1786, Donnison was named aid to Massachusetts Governor Hancock, followed by an appointment as Judge of Common Pleas for 25 years.
