Biography
Adrian Peterson got the nickname All Day (often shortened to A. D.) from his father, because as a toddler he wouldn't take naps. As an All-American running back at Oklahoma, Peterson set the college's all-time rushing record. Drafted by the Minnesota Vikings, he was the NFL Rookie of the Year in 2007. A week after becoming the highest paid running back in NFL history; Peterson passed the 6,000 yards career rushing mark. He also has the third highest rushing yards per game average in the League's history (97.1 at last tally).
