Biography | show moreshow less
Art Linkletter(1912-2010), hosted House Party, television's longest-running daytime variety show, on CBS from 1952-1969. The candid, often surprising responses from his interviews with youngsters on the show led to a series of Kids Say the Darndest Things books. He also hosted Inside Bevery Hills (1955) and The Art Linkletter Show (1963). More recently, Linkletter returned to television in a 1998 production of Kids Say the Darndest Things, which he co-hosted with fellow funnyman Bill Cosby.
