Biography
Binnie Barnes (1905-1998) made her American debut in There's Always Tomorrow (1934). She had appeared in a number of British films, including The Private Life of Henry VIII (1933) and on the British stage. She returned to American films later in her career when her husband, Columbia production chief Mike Frankovich, cast her in the 1968 films The Trouble With Angels and Where Angels Go -- Trouble Follows and in 1972's Forty Carats.
