Biography
BRUCE DAVISON (born in 1946) was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and won the Golden Globe in that category for Longtime Companion (1990). After making his film debut in 1969 in Last Summer, Davison would go on to appear in such films as Willard (1971), Mame (1974), Spies Like Us (1985), Six Degrees of Separation (1993), The Baby-Sitters Club (1995), Paulie (1998), X-Men (2000), X2 (2003), Runaway Jury (2003) and Breach (2007). Known to TV audiences for his role as Doug Hellman on Close to Home (2005-2007), Davison has guest starred on a number of TV series, and he has appeared in a long list of made-for-TV movies.
