Biography
Bruce Gordon (1916-2011) starred as a US intelligence agent in the short-lived series Behind Closed Doors (1958), but was usually cast as a villain, including a gun-toting Western vampire in Curse of the Undead, even before he found the role for which he is best remembered: crime boss Frank Nitti on The Untouchables (1959-1963). He later opened two restaurants called Frank Nitti's Place, greeting patrons at the door dressed in character.
