George Hamilton "BUD" WESTMORE (1918-1973), the second of three generations of famed Hollywood makeup artists, prepared actors for over 450 productions, including such films as The Creature in the Black Lagoon and The Man of a Thousand Faces and TV's The Munsters. Westmore didn't do scary monsters only; he was make-up director on To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), and many TV crime and western series. His father (George Westmore) established the first Hollywood make-up department in 1917.
