Cesar Romero (1907-1994) often played comic second leads. He said that his favorite movie role was that of Cortez in The Captain from Castille (1947). His TV roles included "The Joker" on Batman (1966-1968) and Peter Stavros, who married Jane Wyman's Angela Channing on Falcon Crest (1985-1988).
