Biography
Debuting on Broadway in 1932, CLAIRE TREVOR (1909-2000) made her first feature film in 1933. The actress was nominated for Best Supporting Actress three times: Dead End(1937),Key Largo(1948) andThe High and the Mighty(1954), winning the Oscar in 1948. In the 1950s, she began appearing on television, winning an Emmy in 1956 for her role in Dodsworth opposite Fredric March.
