Biography
Webster, noted for his oratory, served in the U.S. House of Representatives (1813-1817, 1823-1827) and the Senate (1827-1841, 1845-1850) and as Harrison, Tyler and Fillmore's Secretary of State (1841-1843, 1850-1852).
