Biography
Dennis King (b. Dennis Pratt, 1897-1971) played appeared on Broadway in works ranging from Shakespearean dramas to musical comedies. (He was Gaylord Ravenal in the 1932 revival of Show Boat.) He appeared in a few films of the 1930s, including The Vagabond King (1930, reprising a stage role). He also appeared in a few television plays, including a turn as Pontius Pilate in a Hallmark Hall of Fame production (1961).
