Drew Pearson, named one of the top 20 wide receivers in NFL history and a part of the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team, began his football days at South River High School in New Jersey, where he succeeded Joe Theismann as quarterback. The Dallas Cowboys picked him up as a free agent in 1973, where he helped the Cowboys to three Super Bowls, including a win at Super Bowl XII in 1978. He also scored a touchdown in Super Bowl X. Pearson is also a three-time Pro Bowler. He's known as Mr. Clutch for his many clutch receptions, including the Hail Mary catch from Roger Staubach in 1975, which is one of the most famous plays in NFL history and gave the Cowboys the 1975 playoff.
