Earl Morrall (1934-2014) played for six teams: San Francisco, who drafted him No. 1 (1956), Pittsburgh (1957), Detroit (1958-1964), N.Y. Giants (1965-1967), Baltimore (1968-1971) and Miami (1972-1976). As a Colt, he had the greatest year of his career in 1968 with 26 touchdown passes and 182 completed of 317 passes for a 57.4 average and 2,909 yards. Morrall led the Colts to the NFL Championship, was named MVP and won the NFL passing title. In 1972, he led the Miami Dolphins to the only undefeated season in NFL history, quarterbacking 12 of the 17 wins in the perfect season. Again, he won the AFC passing title and in 1968 he was voted MVP of the league.
