EVA LA GALLIENNE (1899-1991) was an American actress as well as a stage director, producer and writer with 77 Broadway productions and 15 TV shows and movies to her credit. She was nominated for the 1980 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Ellen Burstyn's Grandma Pearl in Resurrection (1980) and for the 1981 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for To Grandmother's House We Go (1981).
