Bruno's boxing career began in 1980. One of the defining moments of Bruno's career came in 1995 when he won the WBC heavyweight title by defeating Oliver McCall at Wembley Stadium. Having previously challenged for the title on three occasions. His bouts against some of the era's boxers including Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis. Bruno's boxing record is impressive, with 40 wins (38 by knockout) and 5 losses.
