Traded to Montreal by Detroit for Guy Charron, Bill Collins and Mickey Redmond, January 13, 1971. Selected by Dayton-Houston (WHA) in 1972 WHA General Player Draft, February 12, 1972. WHA rights traded to Toronto (WHA) by Houston (WHA) for future considerations, June, 1974. Transferred to Birmingham (WHA) after Toronto (WHA) franchise relocated, June 30, 1976. Missed remainder of 1976-77 due to knee injury vs. San Diego (WHA), November 10, 1976. Officially announced his retirement after comeback attempt with Detroit failed, October 7, 1979.
