Biography | show moreshow less
Frank Sutton (1923-1974) is best remembered for his role as Sergeant Vince Carter in the Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. sitcom, which was televised on CBS from 1964-1969. He was a regular on The Jim Nabors Hour (1969-1971), hosted by the former star of Gomer Pyle, on CBS. Sutton got his start in television on the early children's show Tom Corbett, Space Cadet (1950-1955) as Cadet Rattison. Not only was this show one of the few shows to have run on all four commercial networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Dumont), but it was also one of the few shows to have run on two networks simultaneously.
