Biography
BENJAMIN OLIVER DAVIS JR. (1912-2002) the organizer of the Tuskegee Airmen during WWII, was the first One-Star African-American Air Force General. Although Davis retired as a Lieutentant General, he was awarded his fourth star by President Clinton in 1998, effectively making him a general.
