Biography
GLORIA DEHAVEN(1925-2016), born in Los Angeles, California, was a band vocalist in many film musicals, such as Best Foot Forward (1943) and Summer Holiday (1948). In the 1950s, she was paired with such stars as William Powell and Red Skelton. When the popularity of the musicals waned, DeHaven remained active as a nightclub and summer stock performer and made TV guest appearances. She returned to film opposite Walter Matthau in Out To Sea (1997). Frequently portraying wholesome girls next door and perfect wives.
