Biography
Hans VonKaltenborn (1878-1965) was chief news commentator for CBS (1929-1940), switching over to NBC in 1940. He was famed for his almost nonstop broadcasts during the 1938 Munich crisis, his reports from European and Pacific fronts in WWII and his coverage of presidential campaigns beginning in 1932. Kaltenborn was a panelist on the NBC TV quiz show, Who Said That? in 1954.
