Biography
Henry Wilcoxon (1905-1984, born Harry Rederick Wilcoxon in Dominica, British West Indies) began a long collaboration with Cecil B. DeMille when he portrayed Marc Antony in Cleopatra (1934). A generation later, he both acted in - and produced - DeMille's The Ten Commandments. Other films starring Wilcoxon included The Last of the Mohicans (1936) and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1949). Modern audiences probably know him best as Bishop Pickering from Caddyshack (1980).
