Biography
Hope Lange (1931-2003) appeared on the Broadway stage at age 12. Her first film role was in Bus Stop (1956), with first husband Don Murray. She earned an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress the next year for Peyton Place. Lange also won two Emmy Awards and another Golden Globe nomination for her TV series The Ghost and Mrs. Muir(1968-1970).
