Biography
Howard Keel (1919-2004) first appeared on the stage in Broadway's Carousel and in the London production of Oklahoma!. He was later a favorite leading man in the heyday of Hollywood musical comedies. He starred in such hits as Annie Get Your Gun(1950), Showboat(1951), Kiss Me Kate(1953) and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers(1954). His most recent on-camera credit was the supporting role of Clayton Farlow on the TV series Dallas (1981-1991), but he made TV guest appearances into the 1990s.
