Biography
Jacqueline Susann (1918-1974) appeared in two of the films made from her novels, Valley of the Dolls and The Love Machine. Her other works include Once is Not Enough and Every Night, Josephine!, and her notes to a planned sequel to Valley of the Dolls were later adapted by writer Rae Lawrence and published as Shadow of the Dolls.
