Javier "Javy" Lopez (b. 1977), had his best offensive year ever with the Atlanta Braves in 2003, hitting .328 with 43 home runs in only 129 games. The reliable catcher made three All-Star teams in his twelve years with the Braves and was the Most Valuable Player of the 1996 National League Championship Series. A free agent, Lopez finished his career with the Baltimore Orioles (2004-2006). The owner of "Taco Mac," a popular Atlanta restaurant and bar, collected many pieces of sports memorabilia from his athlete friends.
