Biography
Jeremy Ingalls (1911-2000), born Mildred Dodge Ingalls, wrote primarily in the 1940's and 1950's. Previously a teacher at Rockford College, Ingalls' first published work was in 1940 with Symbols for These Times. She published five more books of poetry in her career, her last coming in 1983. In addition to her poetry, Ingalls occasionally published non-fiction and essays.
