Jim Lefebvre (born January 7, 1942) is an American former baseball player, coach, and manager, recognized for his multifaceted contributions to Major League Baseball (MLB).

Lefebvre's playing career took off when he debuted as a second baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1965. In his rookie year, he not only clinched the National League Rookie of the Year award but was also instrumental in the Dodgers' World Series victory. Throughout his decade-long stint as a player, which lasted until 1972, Lefebvre showcased prowess as both a second baseman and third baseman, primarily for the Dodgers, and subsequently for the Lotte Orions of Nippon Professional Baseball.

Post his playing career, Lefebvre seamlessly transitioned into managerial roles. He helmed the Seattle Mariners from 1989 to 1991, leading them through pivotal seasons. His ability to mentor and lead was further evident when he managed the Chicago Cubs in 1992 and 1993, and later the Milwaukee Brewers in 1999. Additionally, he was appointed as the manager of the China national baseball team, playing a pivotal role in preparing the squad for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. His tenure with the Chinese team was marked by his efforts to develop and popularize baseball within the nation.
