Biography
Eugenia Lincoln "Jinx" Falkenburg, born on January 21, 1919, in Barcelona, Spain, was an American film and television actress, model, and pioneering radio personality who rose to prominence during the 1930s and 40s.

Falkenburg's career began in modeling, where she achieved significant success, gracing the covers of popular magazines and becoming one of the highest-paid models of her time. Her striking beauty and charm led her to Hollywood, where she starred in over a dozen B-movies, including "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" (1946) and "The Gay Senorita" (1945). Perhaps more impactful than her acting career was Falkenburg's pioneering work in radio. Together with her husband, Tex McCrary, they hosted "Hi, Jinx," one of the first morning talk radio shows that integrated audience participation, celebrity interviews, and news commentary. The program was incredibly popular, eventually transitioning to television as "At Home," further establishing Jinx as a multimedia talent.
