Biography
John Beal (1909-1997) was an American actor. He began his film career acting opposite of Katherine Hepburn in the RKO film The Little Minister (1939). Another notable screen appearance was in the 1935 film Les Miserables. During World War II he served in the special forces as an actor and director of the Army Air Forces camp shows and training films. He continued to work in films and television until the 1980's. Some of his other films include Madame X (1939), The Cat and the Canary (1939), Twelve Angry men (1954) and Amityville 3-D (1983).
