Biography
John Jacobs (b. 1945) began his professional career in 1967. Having played on the PGA tour from 1968-1977, Jacobs never won an official event, but he did finish in second place three times. In 1955 he began to see much more success, winning a major championship on the Champions Tour as a senior player, going on to earn 10 more professional wins and more than 70 top-10 finishes.
