Biography
Joseph Anthony (1912-1993) was an American playwright, actor and director. Making his film debut in acting in 1934 with the film Hat, Coat, and Glove he skyrocketed afterwards. Anthony made his stage debut in 1935 in the production of Mary of Scotland. He has been nominated for five Tony Awards for Best Direction.
