Biography
LOGAN (1908-1988) made his Broadway acting debut in 1932, but focused thereafter on writing and directing. He received Oscar nominations as Best Director for Picnic (1955) and Sayonara (1957). He won a Pulitzer Prize, along with co-author Oscar Hammerstein II, for South Pacific.
