Leo Carrillo (1881-1961), who had made his film debut in 1927 (At The Ball Game), was last seen in features in 1950's Pancho Villa Returns. He was related by blood and marriage to a long line of distinguished original Californians. Leo Carrillo State Park and Leo Carrillo Beach, both in California, were named after the actor, who also served on the State Park and Recreation Commission.
