Leslie Caron (born in 1931) was 16 when she was selected to dance with the Ballet de Champs Elyssés (1947). Her dancing and singing skills were showcased in musicals including An American in Paris (1951), Lili (1953), The Glass Slipper (1954), Daddy Long Legs (1955), Gaby (1956) and Gigi (1958).
