Linda Blair (born in 1959) received a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award nomination for her role as the demonically possessed Regan in The Exorcist (1973). She has since appeared in nearly 50 feature films and TV movies, and Blair has guest starred on several TV series. She has also written a book on veganism and has received a number of awards from P.E.T.A. for her work for the protection of animals.
