Biography
Marsha Hunt (b. 1917) worked as a Powers model until she debuted onscreen in The Virginia Judge (1935). In the 1930s, she appeared in supporting roles in films including Hollywood Boulevard and These Glamour Girls (1939), before moving on to leads in B-movies and supporting roles in major films. Blacklisted during the McCarthy era, she appeared in only a handful of films after 1952, but was seen in the TV series Peck's Bad Girl. Her last film was Johnny Got His Gun (1971). She continues to speak out on political and social issues, including homelessness, world hunger and civil liberties.
