Pat Coombs (1926-2002) guest-starred in various popular BBC television programs (Fast and Loose, Beggar My Neighbour, 'Til Death Do Us Part) before she landed her most famous role as Cissie Lupin on You're Only Young Twice (1977-1981). The show, which starred Peggy Mount, was a BBC favorite for its entire four year run. Coombs also appeared on Super Gran (1985-1987), EastEnders (1989-1990) and the 'Til Death spinoff In Sickeness and in Health (1990-1992). Throughout her 50 year career she amassed 70 professional acting credits, making her last on screen appearance on Doctors in 2001.
