Career:
Traded to Buffalo by NY Islanders with Randy Hillier, Randy Wood and NY Islanders' 4th round choice (Dean Melanson) in 1992 Entry Draft for Pierre Turgeon, Uwe Krupp, Benoit Hogue and Dave McLlwain, October 25, 1991. Traded to NY Rangers by Buffalo for NY Rangers' 2nd round choice (Andrew Peters) in 1998 Entry Draft and future considerations, September 29, 1997.
Suffered career-ending concussion in game vs. Ottawa, March 16, 1998.
Officially announced retirement, October 12, 1999.
