Biography
Paul Draper (1909-1996) was an American tap dancer and choreographer who introduced many new techniques to the art form. His unique style, sometimes called ballet-tap, also incorporated folk dances and diverse music, including classical music. He often performed with harmonica player Larry Adler. Draper was also an influential dance teacher. He can be seen in the 1948 film Time of Your Life.
