Biography
Rocky Marciano (1923-1969) promises to pay $1500 plus 7% interest in ninety-one days, due February 24, 1969. The undefeated World Heavyweight Champion (1952-1956) retired in 1956 with a lifetime professional record of 49-0 with 43 knockouts. He was killed in a plane crash on August 31, 1969, a day before his 46th birthday. Rocky Marciano was honored on a 33-cent postage stamp in 1999.
