The Irish Rovers, who became known as simply The Rovers, are a Canadian based folk band who had a popular show during the 1970s entitled The Irish Rovers Show (1970-1975). Founded in 1963 by the Irish-born singers Will Millar, George Millar, Joe Millar, Jimmy Ferguson (1940-1997), and Wilcil McDowell, the group had popular hits including "The Unicorn" (1967), "Morningtown Ride" (1973) and "Wasn't that a Party" (1980).  Since Ferguson's passing in 1997 and Will and Joe's retirement, The Rovers continue to tour with George Millar, Wilcil McDowell and three new comers, including Ian Millar, Joe Millar's son.
