THREE DOG NIGHT
Biography
Three Dog Night took its name from an Australian term for a very cold night, when one must sleep with three dogs to keep warm. The band had a succession of 21 hit singles, including eleven Top Ten hits, and twelve consecutive gold albums from 1969-1975. "Joy to the World" was the group's biggest hit in 1971.
