Biography
Tom Bosley (1927-2010) is best known to TV audiences for his Emmy Award-nominated role as Howard Cunningham on the hit TV series, Happy Days, which aired on ABC from 1974-1984 and was in the Nielsen "Top 20" for six seasons. Bosley also starred in The Father Dowling Mysteries (1989-1991) and narrated the syndicated series, That's Hollywood (1977-1981), and he has appeared in numerous made-for-TV movies and made guest appeareances on a long list of TV shows. After making his film debut in 1963's Love With the Proper Stranger, Bosley appeared in several other feature films, including Yours, Mine and Ours (1968), Gus (1976) and The Fallen Ones (2005). Bosley, who won the 1960 Tony Award for Fiorello, also originated the role of Belle's father in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast.
