Trudy Marshall (1920-2004) got her start as a cigarette girl, modeling for Old Gold Cigarettes, Chesterfield Cigarettes, and Lucky Strikes. In 1942, Marshall was signed by 20th Century Fox, appearing in films like The Fighting Sullivans (1944) and Fuller Brush Man (1948). Later in her career, the actress was often cast as "the other woman" in films, but by the 1960's began acting less frequently and became semi-retired. Her daughter, Deborah Raffin, also became an actress.
