Biography
Vladimir Brenner (1896-1973) was a Russian pianist, who as a child prodigy began studying on a scholarship at the Petrograd Conservatory of Music at the age of twelve. He often spent Saturday afternoons playing for Czar Nicholas II and his family at Alexander Palace outside St. Petersburg before the Bolshevik Revolution, after which he moved to Constantinople and eventually New York City.
