W. KAYE LAMB

William Kaye Lamb (1904-1999), a Canadian historian specializing in British Columbia, wrote and edited a number of scholarly books. A former President of the British Columbia Historical Federation and the Province's Archivist, he was Canada's first National Librarian (1953-1967). He was honored as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1969.
