Will Fyffe (1885-1947) was a Scottish actor who made 23 professional screen appearances between 1914 and 1947. First appearing in The Maid of Cfn Ydfa (1914), Fyffe went nearly 20 years before making another screen appearance, reemerging in Happy (1933) as Simmy. Other memorable films include To the Victor (1938), For Freedom (1940) and Neutral Port (1940). He won 3rd place for the NYFCC Award for Best Actor in Owd Bob (1938). Sadly, in 1947 Fyffe died while suffering a dizzy spell which caused him to fall to his death from his hotel window. The spell was induced by medications he'd taken while recovering from a surgery. His last film The Brothers was released that same year.
