Biography
Bill Tilden (1893-1953), one of tennis' first superstars, won three Wimbledon men's singles (1920, 1921, 1930) and one doubles (1927) and three U.S. Singles (1920, 1925, 1929) and four doubles (1918, 1921, 1923, 1927). He won 138 of the 192 tournaments he entered, and 93.6% of his matches.
