The first is postmarked Sinclair, Illinois, February 7, 1937; the second is postmarked Lewis, Wisconsin, May 14, 1937. Three color stickers affixed at upper left. The novels of Sinclair Lewis, the first U.S. winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature (1930), include Main Street, Babbitt, Arrowsmith (1926 Pulitzer Prize, refused), Elmer Gantry and Dodsworth. Lightly creased and soiled. Worn at edges. Overall, fine condition.
